Privacy Policy

This page explains the optional analytics used on the SCASA website and how you can change your choice.

Optional analytics

With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google, to understand visits to public pages and improve the website. Analytics is not started unless you accept optional cookies. If you decline, analytics remains disabled.

When enabled, the website loads Google’s tag from googletagmanager.com and sends page-view events, plus limited events for facilitator profile views, directory filters and membership application starts. The website sends a general page title, a page address with profile and article names removed, and no referring-page address. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in this configuration. Google may process information such as browser, device and usage data as part of providing its analytics service.

GA4 may store first-party analytics cookies, including cookies with names beginning with _ga. Your choice is saved in this browser’s local storage as an analytics preference. That preference is used to apply your choice before the analytics tag starts on later visits.

Change your choice

Use at the bottom of a public page to accept or decline optional analytics. If you change an accepted choice to declined, the website disables further analytics and asks the browser to remove applicable first-party Google Analytics cookies.

Removing this website’s stored data in your browser also removes the saved preference. You will then be asked to choose again on your next visit.
